Lexi Gordon is a PhD candidate at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She studies barriers to effective knowledge sharing, focusing on whom people turn to for advice, how they ask for it, and the advice people give. She uses a mix of experiments and field data—including workplace emails, Reddit posts, and commencement speeches—to uncover when and why information exchange breaks down and identify strategies for improving communication in the workplace.
